We build community through meticulous historic preservation and reverence for the local culture.

Our wish is to create spaces where our residents—along with the culture bearers and artists of our neighborhoods—can collaborate and connect.

We view our work in real estate as a medium to preserve the human resources, artistry, and labor that have been invested in historic structures. We set a standard among our community in how we hire, treat, and compensate our employees and vendors.

At our core, Spruce Street Commons is a small, family-owned business.  We are number crunchers, artists, dreamers, obsessives, writers, designers, workers with our hands, and workers with our heads.  ‍We view ourselves not just as proprietors, but stewards of our historic properties and the natural environment all around us.
